UUM ONLINE: Universiti Utara Malaysia is proud to announce that Ms. Wong Wei Qi has been honored by AACSB International (AACSB)—the world’s largest business education association—as part of its 2025 Class of Influential Leaders. This distinguished group comprises 24 outstanding entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs from AACSB-accredited business schools worldwide.
Now in its 10th year, AACSB’s Influential Leaders member spotlight program highlights the significant contributions of business schools to both the corporate sector and society. All honorees in this year’s class hold degrees from one of AACSB’s more than 1,000 accredited business schools worldwide.
The leaders recognized in the 2025 class have demonstrated exceptional entrepreneurial skills, not only in realizing their business aspirations but also in fostering economic growth within their communities, generating new value for existing organizations, and leveraging innovative thinking to address societal challenges.
Ms. Wong Wei Qi is a social entrepreneur and Co-Founder of Ibupreneur. With a background in technology consulting, she is an agile leader committed to environmental sustainability and the empowerment of women. As the Co-Founder and Chief Financial Officer of Ibupreneur, a social enterprise dedicated to nurturing women entrepreneurs in Malaysia, she has played a pivotal role in providing economic initiatives to more than 300 underprivileged women, thus enhancing their social mobility. Additionally, she co-founded Circlepac, a sustainable packaging company focused on reducing plastic waste with Malaysia’s food delivery ecosystem.
Through her impactful initiatives with Ibupreneur Malaysia and Circlepac, Ms. Wong Wei Qi exemplifies entrepreneurial leadership. She has empowered underprivileged women to achieve economic independence and social mobility while addressing environmental sustainability through innovative waste reduction strategies. Her strategic vision, innovative solutions, and measurable impact align seamlessly with the 2025 Influential Leaders’ theme of fostering transformative, value-driven leadership.
